We hope everyone had a relaxing holiday. We are glad to be back at the gym and ready for another successful new year. 2010 is going to be jammed packed with exciting events. Be sure to stay informed by reading the white board in the front lobby and also by our website powerhouse-gymnastics.com
New Programs
· Beginner Recreational - Beginner athlete that is 12 years old or older. The athlete will stay in beginner rec until they master level 2 skills.
· Advanced Recreational - Athletes who have obtained a level 3 or higher mastery of skills and do not wish to compete.
· Tumbling - Athletes must have a backbend kick over and a round off.
*Remember: If you refer a newly registered gymnast you will receive a discount up to $25 on your next session’s tuition.
Christmas Parade
Thanks to all the Christmas parade participants. We appreciate all of your support. Powerhouse received 2nd place in the youth group division.
Upcoming Events
Fun Day at Powerhouse!
Saturday January 30, 2010 from 2-4pm, only $5 dollars per child.
Invite a friend to participate in 2 hours of organized gymnastics fun with you on Saturday, January 30,, 2010 from 2-4pm. The price is $5.00 per person for ages four and older. Anyone who is not a registered gymnast at Powerhouse must have a signed waiver. You can pick up a waiver at the front desk. Please make sure you and your friend sign up at the front desk to guarantee your spot.
Keep Informed
· Pick up a new 2010 session calendar at the front desk or view on our website at powerhouse-gymnastics.com
· YES! We are open January 18th and 19th. Please be advised that we do not always follow the Volusia County School calendar.
· NO ONE except pre-school parents are allowed past the black gate due to insurance reasons. Parents and siblings of pre-school students must remain in the pre-school seating area. Only gymnasts in class with a coach.
Save the date for photo day
We will have a professional photographer come to the gym to take class/team photos as well as individual photos.
He will be here on Saturday, March 13. We will get more information to you soon so save the date!!
Policy Reminders
· All absences must be called in ahead of time in order to schedule a make-up class
· Make-ups must be scheduled through the front desk
· Unattended make-ups are forfeited
· Tuition is due two weeks before session commencement
· A $10 late fee is added to all late tuition payments
· If you need to miss a session for ANY reason, please notify the front desk
· Drop off and pick up of gymnasts no earlier or later than 15 minutes before or after class begins and ends
· Water only past the black gate
